In short: blood-test.life is informational, not a medical device. Use it to understand your lab results, not to replace your doctor. Don't try to break it or upload someone else's report without their permission. We can change the service or pricing, with notice.
1. Acceptance
By using blood-test.life you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. The service
blood-test.life is a consumer health AI product. It reads lab reports and produces educational, plain-English interpretations. It is not a medical device, not a diagnostic tool, and not a substitute for professional medical advice.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use blood-test.life, and at least the local age of majority to enter a paid plan. By uploading a lab report you confirm that you have the right to do so — either it's yours, or you have the explicit permission of the person it belongs to.
4. Account & billing
Free analyses do not require an account. Paid plans require an account and a valid payment method. Pricing for paid plans is published on the pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice for active subscribers.
5. Refunds
See our refund policy: 7 days for single reports if you are unsatisfied; 14 days for annual plans if you have run fewer than 3 reports.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use blood-test.life to:
- Diagnose other people's health conditions without their consent.
- Distribute reports as if they were a medical diagnosis.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
- Upload anything illegal or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Misrepresent the service to third parties.
7. Intellectual property
The blood-test.life product, brand, design, source code, and editorial content are owned by Blood Test Life Inc. The lab report content you upload remains yours. Your AI-generated report is yours to use however you like — including printing it for your physician.
8. AI output and limits
The AI output is educational and informational. We make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy (see methodology), but the analysis is not a substitute for clinical judgment. We do not warrant that the output is suitable for any particular medical decision.
9. Privacy
How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy and the HIPAA Notice.
10. Disclaimers and liability
blood-test.life is provided \"as is.\" To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blood Test Life Inc disclaims all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from your use of blood-test.life is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) USD $100. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (for instance, gross negligence or fraud).
11. Termination
You may stop using blood-test.life at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms, with notice except in cases of emergency or legal compulsion.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Delaware, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction overrides this.
13. Changes
If we materially change these terms we will post the new version here and notify active account holders by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
