About blood-test.lifeWe're building the AI blood test analyzer we wanted for ourselves.
blood-test.life is an independent consumer health AI product. We turn the most-ordered medical test in the world — the humble blood test — into something a patient can actually read and act on.
Why we built this
In 2024, when our founder watched a family member walk out of a routine annual exam with a 14-page lab report and a five-minute \"we'll call you if anything's wrong,\" we did what most people do — we tried to find a tool that would explain the numbers. What we found was a category of products that either insulted the patient with vague \"high / low\" stickers, or pretended to be a doctor with confident-sounding nonsense generated by a generic chatbot.
So we built blood-test.life — the analyzer we wished existed. Health-trained AI, named clinician review, real validation numbers, an honest line about what we will and won't do, and a free tier that's actually free.
What we believe
- Patients are smart. Given a clear explanation, the average adult can read their own lab report and understand what matters. Generic chatbot output insults that intelligence.
- AI doesn't replace clinicians. It makes the time you spend with your clinician more productive. That's a worthier goal than \"AI doctor.\"
- Transparency over magic. We publish our methodology, our validation numbers, and our editorial standards. Every report carries an audit trail.
- Privacy is the default. Your lab report is not training data. Files are processed in encrypted memory and deleted after delivery unless you opt in to trend tracking.
- Free shouldn't mean fake. Our free analyzer is the full analyzer — not a watermarked teaser.
What we don't do
- We don't diagnose disease.
- We don't prescribe medication.
- We don't sell your data — ever.
- We don't train models on user uploads.
- We don't pretend to replace your doctor.
